Menulog is excited to announce the very latest in online ordering technology, with the launch of the brand new Menulog Orderpad software! 

All Menulog restaurant partners using Orderpad should have now transitioned to the new software version and have access to a suite of new functionality and features on their Orderpad device. 

WHAT’S NEW ON THE ORDERPAD? 

The new Orderpad software is designed to make your life easier, enabling you and your restaurant staff to receive, prepare and deliver online orders even more efficiently. 

Just some of the new features available on the new version of the Orderpad include: 

Contacting the customer 

The new Menulog orderpad makes it easy for you to contact the customer should you need to at any point during the preparation process. Got a question on an order note? No problem – just hit the button on the Orderpad to find the phone number (please note; you will still require the displayed verification code for privacy reasons) 

Offline menu items straight from the Orderpad 

Run out of stock? Missing an item for a popular dish? No worries – you can now offline menu items straight from the Menulog Orderpad. Of course, you can still do this in Partner Hub too! 

Take items offline indefinitely! 

We recently added a new feature which allows restaurants to manage their stock more efficiently by allowing them to offline items for longer than a day. This has proved to be a very popular feature, and has more than halved the time restaurants previously wasted taking items offline every day!

 

Provide a reason if you need to reject an order 

We understand that there may be certain times when you need to reject an order. To help manage customer disappointment, we have now added a new feature that allows you to include a reason if you reject an order. This could include ‘too busy’ or ‘restaurant about to close’. This message will be sent to the customer to help improve their experience if, for some reason, you need to decline an order. 

New and improved flow for food preparation time 

We have made some really exciting changes to help you during the food preparation period. Just some of the new features include: 

  • New ‘cook now’ notification to help with order management 

  • Countdown timer for preptime with a courier ETA. Plus a new notification when the courier is waiting to collect 

New options for printing  

The new Orderpad software gives you new and different options for printing receipts to better suit the way you like to run your restaurant operations. 

 

 

A variety of tones and alerts to choose from

Tired of hearing the same sound from your Orderpad? The new Orderpad now allows you to change a number of settings for Orderpad notifications!
