The 2020 Menulog Restaurant Awards have been bigger and better with more People’s Choice restaurant nominations and customer votes than any other year.
For the first time ever, we introduced the ‘ Critic’s Choice’ award, welcoming one ultimate Menulog customer and fan, to try dishes from finalist restaurants who consistently deliver delicious dishes each and every time and this generated more customer interest in the awards this year. We saw more customers getting behind their favourite local businesses by leaving comments of support for their favourite restaurants – you can see comments scrolling across the page on the Restaurant Awards Website!
Joining the Critic’s Choice included Menulog’s state winners for People’s Choice who, based on outstanding order numbers, overall customer satisfaction and thousands of customer votes, will now win a share of $50,000 in bespoke advertising to help their business thrive:
- VIC –Zafeera’s Fine Malaysian Indian Cuisine, Carlton North, known for its fresh and packed full of flavour Fennel Chicken
- NSW/ACT – Fat Elephant Thai, Canterbury, which specialises in Crying Tiger, the Thai-grilled steak with morish dipping sauce
- WA – Mario’s Pizza, Dianella, a returning favourite famous for The Works, the pizza that doesn’t skimp on toppings
- TAS – Bombay On The Beach Indian Cuisine, Blackmans Bay, which serves up the aromatic and authentic Lamb Raan
- SA – Pizza Infinity, Broadview, known for its UFO Pizza, shaped like a doughnut with a crispy french fries center
- QLD – Red Rooster, Arana Hills, whose Rippa Mega Boxes are loved by locals
- NT – Grill Me Crazy, Alice Springs, known amongst locals and visitors for its Mexican Parmigiana
