Menulog Reaches New Milestone as Network Expands to 11,000 Restaurants

In Menulog’s twelfth year in the business of food, we have reached a new milestone, expanding our network of restaurants to 11,000 and connecting our restaurant partners with more than three million customers each year!

2018 has been an exciting year for the business, with some major changes resulting in great new features and services for more restaurant partners than ever before:

World-class global technology

In early 2018, Menulog worked with its global parent company, Just Eat, to make a major upgrade to its technology platform. This upgrade allowed Menulog to tap into Just Eat’s world-class global technology and set the business up to unlock cutting edge new features in years to come.

The new Menulog Apps and Website

This upgrade allowed Menulog to launch a brand new website and mobile apps, designed to provide a better experience for its network of restaurants and customers. The new Menulog platform is far more user friendly and easier to navigate, making it more convenient for customers, as well as featuring some great new features for restaurant partners, including:

  • Improved features for your restaurant listing, such as images for every restaurant listing and the opportunity to add new types of specials
  • Address validation using Google Places
  • Improved Search Results Page that better takes into account customer reviews as well as order volume

The Menulog Delivery Service

Following this upgrade and the launch of our new website and apps, Menulog focussed on launching an entirely new business stream – The Menulog Delivery Service! While Menulog’s core business remains its self-delivery stream, The Menulog Delivery service provides a new solution for restaurants without their own drivers and has seen Menulog become Australia’s first ‘hybrid’ online food delivery marketplace. 11,000 restaurants – The network effect

Menulog has now hit 11,000 restaurant partners and continues to grow each day! As the Menulog network expands, the businesses top priority is to continue to support each and every one of its valued restaurant partners and to help their business continue to grow profitably in tandem.

The Menulog business is founded on a simple premise, which is to enable great restaurants to provide delicious food to more local customers. The ‘Network Effect’ of this relationship means the more restaurants that become available on Menulog, the more customers are attracted to and use the service, due to greater choice, which in turn provides more local customers – and so it continues.
