Menulog teamed up with Sydney’s favourite open-air Sunset Cinema again this year, to deliver food directly to movie fans in North Sydney.

Hosted at North Sydney Oval Cricket Ground, we partnered with three Menulog local favourites; The Wise Chook, Grace of India and Quan Viet, to deliver food straight to customers, so that they could relax, unwind and enjoy this quintessential summer event while watching cult movie classics.

Our team worked closely with restaurant partners to choose five key dishes that would be easy to enjoy in an outdoor cinema setting. Three staggered drop off times were then allocated to each of the restaurants and customers were instructed to retain their order numbers to show Sunset Cinema staff before the movie screening to pick-up their orders.

The deliveries showcased the simplicity of ordering via the Menulog platform and ease of restaurants preparing food and delivering a curated Sunset Cinemas menu for the season.

This one-of-a-kind event not only helped our restaurant partners generate additional orders, but also provided exposure via a range of marketing methods, including social posts, targeted EDMs and media coverage, which helped keep the conversation going about a great night out with delicious food to match.
