To drive more orders in quieter periods, we’ve launched $1.99 off-peak delivery. That means customers will now only pay $1.99 for Menulog-delivered order outside of the dinner ‘peak’, completely funded by Menulog. 

We’re investing tens of millions of dollars per year in this initiative to generate more breakfast, lunch and late night orders for our restaurant partners. Research shows value is a key driver for customers and so lowering the customer-facing delivery fee aims to get more customers ordering, more often. 

Customers and restaurants will now automatically see the change on the Menulog App and website on ‘Delivered by Menulog’ restaurants.

$1.99 off-peak delivery for Menulog-delivered orders 

So what exactly is changing? 

From October 2020, we’re reducing our off-peak delivery fee for Menulog-delivered orders by more than 60%, to just $1.99. That means any Menulog-delivered order from morning to afternoon and late-night/overnight can be delivered for $1.99, with the exception of McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s, which excludes middle-of-the-day orders and KFC, which is not part of the change. This initiative is being completely funded by Menulog to drive more orders for restaurant partners. 

Why make the change? 

Because we want to give both customers and restaurants the best value from the Menulog service! 2020 has seen the need for food delivery increase and has been particularly tough for our restaurant partners and so we’re investing in this initiative to not only save our customers in delivery fees but also to drive more business for restaurants in traditionally quieter periods for them, such as breakfast and lunch. 

What times are included? 

Put simply, any time outside of the dinner ‘peak’ period (hence off-peak!). Customers can get $1.99 delivery from morning to afternoon (5.00am – 4.00pm) then again late night / overnight (9.30pm – 5.00am). 

How do customers find $1.99 delivery onsite? 

Customers will now automatically see the change on the Menulog App and website on ‘Delivered by Menulog’ restaurants.The delivery fee will appear on each restaurant listing in your search results.
