Cyber security tips for Menulog partners
on March 14, 2024 in Business Tips, Features, Resources

Keeping your personal information safe and secure is a top priority at Menulog whether you’re a partner, courier or customer. There’s a few things to keep in mind from your end to be more safe and secure online.

Keep passwords strong

Your password is your key to accessing your account on the Partner Hub, the go-to location for controlling your Menulog listing. Keep your passwords strong by following these tips:

  • Use complex passwords that include numbers, letters, and even special characters
  • Don’t repeat your passwords for multiple internet accounts
  • Always log out of the Partner Hub when you’re finished using it

Be aware of phishing scams

Phishing and scams have become increasingly sophisticated and prevalent in today’s digital age. Awareness and caution are your best defences against these digital threats. Always think twice before clicking on links or sharing information online and over the phone.

Menulog is aware of a phishing scam currently targeting partners about a new Menulog device. If you receive this, please verify if it is an official Menulog request by contacting a trusted source (like Partner Hub or your account manager), before you provide any personal details.

All official email communications from Menulog should come from an email address ending with ‘menulog.com.au’. A common example of an email address we regularly use to contact partners is ‘[email protected]’.

If you’re unsure whether a communication is genuinely from Menulog, don’t answer or reply – instead you should reach out to us directly via the Partner Hub. Please report to your Menulog account manager if you encounter any potential scams regarding the platform.

Protect your data

There are certain details that Menulog will never ask you for, and you should avoid giving these out over the phone or online. We will never ask you for your full bank or payment details, or personal PIN numbers (outside of your Menulog Partner PIN).

However, some examples of the details that Menulog may ask you to provide for verification processes include (but are not limited to):

  • Phone numbers or email addresses
  • Invoice identification number or restaurant ID
  • Menulog PIN number
  • Partial banking information
