Menulog is consistently looking for ways to attract more customers and drive more orders for our independent restaurant partners.

This Valentine’s season from 13 – 26 February 2023, we’ll be promoting ‘free item offers’ to entice customers to order from local restaurants.

▼ When is the campaign running?

The campaign will run from Monday 13 to Sunday 26 February, 2023.

 

▼ How do I set up a free item offer?

1. Log in to Partner Hub (or follow the steps to set up your account)
2. Click on the ‘Marketing’ tab to access your Offers page
3. Select ‘Add New Offer’
4. Select ‘Free Item’ and choose either the minimum spend or qualifying item criteria and set the offer type
5. Configure the offer based on the free item you’ll be giving away
6. Set the offer period to 13 Feb – 26 Feb 2023, and you’re good to go!

▼ How do I opt-in?

All you need to do is create your offer in the Partner Hub following the instructions above by Thursday 9 February 2023 and you will be automatically opted in.

 

▼ Is there a cost to participate?

There are no fees to participate. The only cost to you will be the value of the free item on applicable orders. By adding this offer, you’ll unlock Menulog marketing channels such as email, in-app, push notifications, and more – at no cost!

 

▼ What sort of free item offer should I create?

There are two types of free item offers to choose from:

– Minimum spend – e.g. Get a free large fries when you spend $20
– Qualifying item – e.g. Get a free garlic bread when you order a large pizza

You have the freedom to select any item or qualifying criteria, as long as the item(s) is available on your menu. The higher the value of the item, the more likely customers are to redeem!

▼ How will the offer appear on my restaurant listing with Menulog?

A notification will appear on your restaurant listing, it will feature within our offers filter, and appear on your menu page (see below examples):

 

▼ How does the free item appear on an order receipt?

The free item will display in the list of items ordered, but the cost of that item will be deducted from the order total. Here is an example:

 

▼ How can I promote the offer?

Share the love by promoting this offer to more customers during the campaign on your social channels. You can create your own or utilise our templates at this link.
Don’t forget to tag us @Menulog and include your offer in the caption.

▼ How will customers redeem the free item?

1. Your customer selects the qualifying item/reaches the qualifying minimum spend
2. A pop-up will appear saying they can add the free item to their order
3. Customer either accepts or declines the offer
4. If they add the item to their order, the discount is applied at checkout as a ‘Multi-buy discount’ (equivalent to the value of the free item)

 

▼ How will Menulog promote my free item offer?

We’ll be promoting your offer via in-app, email, push notifications, social media, and more! Your restaurant will also appear in the ‘Offers’ filter in-app, giving you more exposure to Menulog customers.

 

▼ I can’t access my Partner Hub account, what should I do?

If you’ve forgotten your password:
1. Visit Partner Hub and click ‘Forgot Password’.
2. Enter your username and follow the prompts to reset your password.

If you’ve never used Partner Hub before:
1. Visit Partner Hub and follow the prompts to ‘Get Started’.
2. Enter the mobile number that was used to sign up to Menulog without the international prefix or spaces (e.g. 0412345678)
3. Click ‘Send activation code’. An activation code will be sent to the mobile number provided. Enter this code to create your username, password and link your restaurant listing.
4. Once the account has been created, you can login using your new username and password.
