How to improve your Performance Score
on May 16, 2025 in Business Tips

Customer satisfaction insights are the best way to see where you can grow and improve your business. That’s why we created the Performance Score, a feature on Partner Hub that tracks where you’re doing well and where you can improve.

The Performance Score is based on five different metrics that contribute to your customer experience. Boosting your score in each metric will help you attract new customers and keep your regulars coming back for more.

Here are the metrics that go into calculating your Performance Score, and what you should do to help improve each one.

Star rating

Providing good order experiences consistently will give you a higher star rating. That means making sure each order contains the best quality possible.

Cancellation rate

Try to avoid cancelled orders unless you really need to. Ways to avoid cancelled orders include keeping an eye on your Menulog device, making items unavailable if you’ve sold out of them, taking your listing temporarily offline if you are too busy.

Item imagery

Having photos on your menu helps drive orders as customers will be more confident in trying your business. The more product photos you upload, the higher this metric will be.

Items descriptions

Like item photos, item descriptions are important to make customers more confident in trying your business. Aim for clear descriptions on as many menu items as possible – the more you have, the higher your score.

Opening hours

Make sure your business hours are up-to-date. Be consistent and stick to those hours – the more reliable your hours, the better your score will be.
